Rob Kane
Rob is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Boxwood Property Fund, which focuses on redeveloping commercial buildings. In the last few years, Boxwood has invested over R1.4 billion in the Cape Town CBD. Rob has been chairperson of the CCID board of directors for over 10 years. Rob serves on three board sub-committees: Fincom; Communications; and Security.
Michael Bauer
Michael has 20 years’ experience in the property industry. He is the managing director of SAproperty.com, a diversified property services company with a footprint in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and Apollon Property Fund (Pty) Ltd. Michael serves on two CCID board sub-committees, namely Parking lots and Streetlights.
Tamra Capstick-Dale
Tamra is the head of CBD-based Corporate Image, one of Cape Town's oldest public affairs and reputation management companies. She has served on the CCID board for many years and is chairperson of the Communications sub-committee. She also serves on the Fincom sub-committee.
Murray Clark
Murray is the founder and CEO of Neighbourgood, a co-living and workspace company that owns and operates Neighbourgood developments in the Cape Town CBD and further afield. In his career spanning 15 years, he has founded multiple companies across the construction, property development and private equity sector and has developed over 40 buildings across South Africa. Murray serves on two CCID board sub-committees, namely Streetlights and Parking lots.
Samantha Clingham
Samantha is the operations director for the Cape region at Southern Sun, the leading hospitality company in southern Africa. The group has over 100 hotels across all sectors of the market in South Africa, Africa, the Seychelles and the Middle East. She serves on two CCID board sub-committees: Security and Remcom.
Grant Elliott
Grant, deputy chairperson of the CCID board, is COO of property development company, One Thibault Investments, which recently redeveloped One Thibault, the iconic CBD building where the CCID is based. Grant is the former regional manager of Redefine Properties in the Western Cape. He serves on three board sub-committees: Fincom; Communications; and Parking lots
Tim Harris
Tim is a partner at public sector advisory firm Consulum where he leads the Competitiveness practice and the Cape Town office. He is also the interim chairperson of the SA Tourism Board. He was previously the CEO of Wesgro, the Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion Agency for Cape Town and the Western Cape, and before that, a DA member of the National Assembly. He serves on two CCID board sub-committees namely Communications and Projects.
Samantha Lambert
Samantha is the general manager (coastal) of Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), Redefine Properties, which has a diversified property asset platform comprising premium retail, office and industrial properties across South Africa’s major metropolitan areas including the Cape Town CBD. She serves on two CCID board sub-committees: Parking lots and Projects.
Julian Leibman
Julian is a director on the Cape Regional Board of Investec. He serves on three CCID board sub-committees, namely FinCom; Security; and Projects.
Joy Millar
After 15 years as a senior commercial property broker and regional manager at Swindon Property, Joy is now the property portfolio manager for Benzing Properties SA. She is passionate about the success of the Cape Town City Centre. Joy serves on two CCID board sub-committees, namely Security and Streetlights.
Nawal Ramasar
Nawal is the MD of Active Blue Valuation Solutions and a director and shareholder of Resolutions, a national property valuation and development company. He is a co-opted member of the CCID board. He serves on two CCID board sub-committees, namely Communications and Projects.
Riaan van Wyk
Riaan heads up the national property portfolio of Woolworths, which includes the facility management of Woolworths' CBD-based head office. He serves on two CCID board subcommittees namely Streetlights and Remcom.
Wouter de Vos
Wouter joined the CCID board in the first half of 2024 following his appointment as regional head for the Western Cape at Growthpoint Properties. Highly experienced in the real estate industry, he is an expert in real estate fund management, investment banking, private equity and wealth management. After co-founding a boutique real estate business he was appointed CEO of the Atterbury Property Fund in 2015 and served until 2019. In 2020, he founded De Vos Capital, a real estate investment business transacting internationally in various asset classes. Prior to his Growthpoint appointment, he spent 18 years at Investec Private Bank on the national executive as part of his role in running the Pretoria and Stellenbosch regions.
